    Exclamation Need to add locations to JS map...

    I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking at here.

    The map can be seen at http://suntexmarinas.com - each location represents a different marina, and I have to add a new marina to that map. I have the file and was instructed that I need to add the name and longitude/latitude and it will show up.

    Code:
    |||||||||||maps|google|map|var|new|marker_list|marker_latlng|image|MapTypeId|HYBRID|function|zoomMarina|setZoom|setMapTypeId|LatLng|toggle_marina|animation||click|icon|addListener|http|suntexmarinas|com|wp|content|uploads|2013|07|DROP|png|Animation|Marker|position|title|event|marker_inland2|32|97|marker_coastal2|myLatlng|myZoom|30|Lake|Marina|mapTypeId|Landing|Yacht|96|81|Harbor|||||||myOptions|98||panTo|Pointe|474609|101190|40|709589|74|633112|Liberty|Amelia|Island|038514|63|088914|Port|De|Plaisance|857384|476905|548154|Basin|Captains|Cove|backgroundColor|749FB9|900212|zoom|233439|Canyon|center|disableDefaultUI|874917|481012|Chandler|true|888531|291384|Cranes|Mill|190|389514|Map|966941|Crosswater|Club|document|866711|504888|Eagle|Mountain|getElementById|34|117258|84|697573|Glade|map_canvas|894698|446158|zoomMap|One|42||382224|959917|Hurst|250190|893583|456259|Country|70|41|751103|93|704549|Saylorville|reset_map|975311|recenter_map|Bay|getPosition|panBy|039955'
    That's the jist of it (with other things above it, but this section at least mentions the locations. If I need to add a location and the long/lat if that location, how do I do it?

    Thank you for the help.

    Java or Javascript? This looks like it'll probably be Javascript, but I'll wait for a reply before I move it.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');

    Oh, sorry. It is javascript.

    Please move it to the appropriate thread.

    What’s the file called where you have that code? And to which file they said you need to add the location?

    The file is called gm.js and it includes numbers and vertical line separators like the code above displays. I can code a lot of things, but I have no idea where to even start.

    Oh, I see. That is a compressed and therefore obfuscated script, no wonder that it makes no sense. You need to uncompress it first; copy the code in that file and paste it in the textarea at http://jsbeautifier.org/ and then you probably see how and where to add the markers.

    And if you re-compress it use minify rather than packer for performance reasons. I’ve been using http://refresh-sf.com/yui/ in the past.
