    moving the mouse in jscript

    i am just new to javascript and was wondering if it is possible to move the mouse about the screen in jscript format.

    and could anyone tell me about changing the icon of the mouse.


    and the million pound question can you make a trail of wrichting on the mouse

    The first one is not possible. The second one is limited - while you can change the cursor, you can only change it to a selected amount of pointers. Check out this reference for more information.     I think you can now use the CSS attribute cursor:url(file.cur) to depict your own cursor image

    IE 6.0 only, I believe. Not exactly a supported feature..

    It's a W3C defined standard supported by IE 6.0 and later which means that most people will now support it (I believe the current versions of Moz/Firebird support it, don't know about Safari or Opera).


    Narf, are you looking for a script that allows you to "draw" with the mouse? I hope you aren't looking for another one of those lame "things that follow the mouse around" scripts.
