    Saved file path using javascript ,how

    Hello jscript developers,

    i am using saveas functionality using exec command using javascript,How can I get the file path ,where the file is stored. ,how can I do that one.

    You probably can't, browser security policy would prevent it, even if there was a method, browser security would probably prevent it being implemented.

    once the tab hands the download to the browser, it's out of javascript's hands.
    if this is just for you, you can somewhat correlate download and upload folders by ripping the path from an <input type=file> loading a file from the downloads folder, but it's not very cross browser.

    EDIT:
    for now, drag and dropping the file back into the browser can yield a path in firefox and chrome.
