    Opening a form in new window

    I am trying to add script to get this payment form so that it will open in a new window after clicking on the button. Nothing I have tried is working. Any advice? Thanks!!

    PS--I have changed the link and the LinkID value for protection purposes, so the link itself will not work when the new window opens.

    Code:
    <form name="PrePage" method = "post" action = "https://checkout.net/payment/CatalogPayment.aspx"> <input type = "hidden" name = "LinkId" value ="7777777" /> <input type = "submit" value = "Open Payment Window" /> </form>

    <form target="_blank" ...>

    That's all that is needed.

    But that doesn't open up the <form> in a new window!

    That opens up the web page https://checkout.net/payment/CatalogPayment.aspx in a new window.

    If you want the <form> to open in a new window:
    (a) it must be on its *OWN* web page and
    (b) that has to happen via some action separate from the <form> page.

    Thanks, that's exactly what I needed! So simple--sometimes we overthink things =)
