    Help: Pass string from child window to textbox inside an iframe of the parent window

    I have a parent window that contains an iframe. Inside that iframe is a textbox. Clicking on a link next to that textbox opens a child window. From the child window I need to pass a string back to the textbox in the iframe in the parent window.

    Here's what I have so far but it doesn't work.

    window.opener.frames["content"].document.Form1.txtDescription.value = text;

    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Try:

    Code:
    window.opener.document.Form1.txtDescription.value = text;
    The window.opener is already pointing to the page inside the iframe.
