    Post Help - need script calendar links menu to directory file listing

    Hello CodingForums,

    I need suggestions for the script that 1-scans directory 2-output file listing and 3-sort results by file creation date in calendar style menu

    Any help and link are appreciated,

    JS is a client side language.
    You will not be able to accomplish the 1st of your requests.
    So that makes the others a non-viable option without using PHP or a server side language.

    You can do that through the command line on a local machine, but not a remote machine, unless you're the server administrator. It's very easy in Linux and Mac, I suspect not so for Windows. It doesn't involve any javascript.

    Hello and thanks for the responses,
    This application is intended for client side work, so
    here is the example attachment accomplishing file listing task with ActionX and VBS through javascript calls, so please review and suggest some solutions if you like.
