Hi All - I have a CRM I developed a while back. To function, it requires a list of google contacts. I was using authsub, but it has been discontinued.

I am a bit confused as to what API and methods I should be using for Oauth. There appears to be no Contacts API for gdata v3 and the current API says it is depreciated as well!

At present I am able to get the access token through javascript alone, but when I need to get the feed, I run into the CORS issue. So I wrote a proxy in php to get around that, when I use that I get a 401 from google.

When I compare the request I make to the request supposedly made by the Oauth playground, they are identical.

I think at this point I need to step back and consider other methods. I am seeking advice on how this should be done. I do not feel it is relevant, but I am using EXT JS 3.3 for the rest of the application.

I see no reason why this can't be done client-side. For now I only need read only access anyway. I the future I will need to create calendar events as well if that should be considered.

Thanks
