What is your definition of a "hidden param"?
An optimist sees the glass as half full.
A pessimist sees the glass as half empty.
A realist drinks it no matter how much there is.

    I figured it out.

I wanted to send a client name to the cgi so it would know what web page was looked at but since that was being diffacult. So I told the cgi to look for a certian string in the $ENV{QUERY_STRING} it worked like a charm. Since it's a fairly good guess not to many domain.com/pageName will be the same I figured that would be the easiest way.

    Thaks for your reply.

If I could figure out how to label this message as closed I'll be set until the next one.

I start a course in computer sience "C" Java etc.. next month and I'm sure I'll be getting stuck a lot. Starting over at 54 can be a real pain sometimes.
