    load mobile version in desktop website iframe

    is it possible to force load mobile version site in desktop website iframe?

    a mobile version will have a separate URL, generally starting with an m. (yahoo's is m.yahoo.com for example) so all you would need to do would be to put that in the src for the iframe instead of the "normal" URL

    cross-browser restrictions mean that many external sites will not load in iframes these days, though...

    Thanks, I made a a simple form that on submit loads the link the user submits into an iframe.. I want the iframe to autodetect the url as if it was a mobile device... so it loads their website to see test whether or not there site is autodetecting mobile view..
