Sequential List With Cookies Script Stopped Working For Me

Sequential List With Cookies Script Stopped Working For Me

I have been running the script below for some time now and it worked just fine in the respect that if I had a list of 30 different entries/strings that if I last viewed entry #15 and then shut down my browser and returned at a later time, that the script/cookies would remeber where I left off in the sequence of the list and I would be shown the NEXT (#16) entry in the list.

But now that is NOT the case any more.

I keep returning to the #1 (first) entry no matter where I leave off in the list and no matter how many minutes or days it is before I return.

Can someone explain why this happened all of a sudden?

Does a particular setting in my browser (IE Version 6.0.2800.1106) need to be reset or something?

Could someone please take a look at the code I am using which is listed below and see the script in action and let me know if it is or is not working correctly (by starting the list of quotations where you left off before you CLOSED your browser or rebooted your computer) for YOU, thank you!

    Sequential Quotations

Easy to use! A sequential quotation is shown every time the page is displayed. There's no code to change, just insert strings for your quotes (w/ cookies). The script uses a cookie, to remember between visits where it's been in the list. Unlike using random numbers, the user will see all the quotes before they start to repeat. This script uses the construction method to dynamically create an array of objects and the array.length property so the script user doesn't have to worry about the number of elements or finding all the locations of specific constants.

You page works fine for me. I'd guess you've installed some Cookie blocking software, placed that page into the "Restricted Zone" or adjusted the settings for the zone you have that page in to disabled cookies.
