    Changing Iframes from other Iframes

How to say this without offending anyone?

I have a page with two Iframes...good so far.

The left frame, called "main," contains the main menu that loads up on the page loading. This contains various links...some change the "main" frame to reference sub-menus, some change the "main" frame and the larger "contents" frame, and some change only the "contents" frame.

In hindsight, this is incorrect. This is what I'm hoping my page will do, but it doesn't do it, not even close. Where does JavaScript need to be? On every page with a link? The main webpage contains the iframes but no actual links. The links only exist in external html files that appear in those iframes.

Does this make any sense? Nope Not Really (circle one)

Now, how can this be done? Anybody, anybody?

Thanks for any or all parts solved.

    Well...

    Thanks for the zip file....

I'm still not getting it, really, though.

When I had a scrolling menu on my home page, I had no problems. Now that I have changed the layout so there are no actual links on my home page, I'm getting all kinds of reference errors. I don't know baby. This isn't my bag.
