    Unhappy Exporting to .js help...

I am trying to export a large set of javascript to a .js file and then add <script language="JavaScript" src="navigation.js" type="text/JavaScript"></script>. But where do I add this line of code? In the head or in the body? Also, when I create the .js file, do I need to start the file any particular way? (Do I need to start the file with the <script blah blah blah> tag and end it with the </script> tag, or do I omit those because they are already in the page?)

As you can tell, this is my first exportation to a .js file, so anything that I left out please feel free to inform me of.

    Thanks!
