    Internet Explorer Can't get HTML canvas to work in IE

    I have make a javascript program that uses HTML canvas and I can't get it to work in Internet Explorer. I tried using excanvas and jqcanvas but had trouble getting them to work. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Do you have some code to look at?

    I'm not sure MSIE supports canvas at this time. I think it is to be a HTML 5 attribute.

    From: http://www.xul.fr/en/html5/canvas.php
    Compatibility

    Canvas currently works on:

    * Firefox.
    * Safari.
    * Chrome.
    * Opera.

    Not on Internet Explorer. This limited compatibility let it usable mainly to Web applications, and if it is used for pages of sites, it is necessary that the contents of the tag provides a replacement with sufficient features. This also applies to users who disable JavaScript.

    Whenever I do any web programming, I write the code, test it, debug it, slap myself for making a stupid mistake, then sit back in satisfaction watching my new code run.

    Then, with trembling hands and sweat on my forehead, I fire up MSIE and spend the next month working out all the error messages caused by MSIE's inability to follow the @#&^%$ing standards!

    Here's a pie chart that perfectly describes the MSIE headache... I'll provide it as a link though because it has 2 "bad words" in it.....
