Question Seeing Storage Information on Mapped Drive

Is there any command out there for Javascript or any other language at that, that will let me see Free Disk Space and Total Disk Space of a Computer's hard drive. ESPECIALLY of a Mapped Drive (i.e. Drive X).

I know that PHP has two commands called disk_free_space and disk_total_space, but they seem not to pull up information on the "X Drive" or any mapped drive.

Can any other language do this?

    Thank You,
    Holmes

Are you wanting this info from the client PC or the server?

The mapped drives would be on the Client PC. But the server PC would work too since this is for an Intranet. Both computers would have the same mapping.

    Sorry I didn't specify that.

Well, I don't have any ActiveX experience, but if this is possible, it's gonna take ActiveX to do it.
