    activating keycode

I have seen how to capture keycodes. What I would like to see is a method of activating keycodes.

I mean, if I invoke F11, how can I cause the subject PC (the one accessing my website) to open a fullscreen as I can by using the F11 key on my machine.

I don't want to "onclick" "onload" or any of the usual ways to launch a pop-up and so by invoke pop-up killers.

I want to invoke the F11 response on the users computer to bypass the pop-up killer entirely.

    Thanks.

you can't. that would create all kinds of security problems. in general, there's nothing you can do, to mess with the current browser window.

I was afraid of something like that. I don't want to use a popup or anything that would not be viewable by the user on loading. Could I maybe use "onMouseDown/Up" to trigger fullscreen without the popup killer getting me?

Found a "showmodelessdialog" on DynamicDrive that I think will fill the bill.

    Thanks, again.
