    Question how to set active print imgaes and background colors

    any one knows how to set active by any javascript code the option in explorer that allows to print background pictures or colors.

    You can't.

    But you can superimpose foreground colours - like an absolutely positioned, block-coloured image, with absolute positioned text on top; that would print because image colours are foreground properties.

    But consider - backgrounds are set not to print by default, for a reason, which is that they take a lot of ink to print, and sometimes when transposed to b/w they can make the superimposed text unreadable (black text on a dark pink background, for example)
