    Question redirect to a specific location on a page

    Is it possible to redirect(go back) to a specific location on page.

    What i want is:

    The user scroll down a page an click a link.

    The link opens a new page, the user then click a button and return to the same position on the parent page.

    Depends on browser used. For IE you can write:
    onclick="history.go(-1)"

    I use this one which I'm told works woth other browsers than IE but I havent tried it myself.

    <a href="javascript:history.back(-1)">Back a page</a>

    If you change the number in the brackets, your change the number of pages you can move back.
