    popup problem with ie and ff

    Good evening and congratulations for this really well formed and hellpfull site..
    I'm posting this thread cause i have a problem with popups in IE and FF...

    I want to post a form in a popup window...I have created the code and it's generally working but with some issues.

    In IE the options that i set for the popup is competly ignored and in FF the popup opens in a new tab. here is my code.

    [code]
    <script>
    function popUP(path,title,wid,hei){
    popupWindow = window.open(path,title,'toolbar=0,scrollbars=1,location=0,statusbar=0,menubar=0,resizable=1,titlebar =0,width='+wid+',height='+hei);
    }
    </script>
    [code]

    [html]
    <form id="id" name="name" method="post" target="popup title" onsubmit="popUP('url','popup title',500,500);">
    [html]

    Can someone help with this cause i can't find any solution so far..

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your reply ohgod..
    I try your solution but nothing's changed.
    When i'm using this function making a simple popup is working fine.
    The problem is when i'm posting a form to a popup window and need to call it through
    onsubmit form attribute.

    Have a try by removing target="popup title" from your form and adding a return false; after
    Code:
    popUP('url','popup title',500,500);
