    image rollovers

    preoad your sequence of images, then simply tie an image rollover script to a onMouseMove event handler that checks the x-coordinate against an array of predefined values - if the mouse's position is between values a and b, load image x. If it's between b and c, load image y. If you wanted, you could create a 2d array of images that also allows for movement in the y axis....

    Still about this object VR matter...

    I'm having a specific trouble with every kind of javascript based object VR:

    I noticed that just after the page loads the script works just fine. But if I minimize this window for a while and do some browsing (with another window) when I return to the VR picture and try to spin it, it seems it "lost" all the images loaded and begins loading them again as you spin it (wich make the rotation very truncated). This happens with RoyW's examples as well.

    My problem is that my object VRs will be on a page where the users will mostly see the VR, click on some links wich will open new windows with technical drawings (big images) and close this windows to go back to the see the VR again. And that's exactely when the VR loose it all and get truncated, each image being loaded on demand.

    Does this happens to everyone or is it just a problem with my system/browser? If it's a generic problem, can it be avoided?
