need to get rid of scroll bars on textarea box

I used a "typing scrolling" script from javascriptkit and it works fine but I want to get rid of the scroll bars on the righ hand side of the form. I was able to get the background to match my webpage and the text color I want but would like to lose the scroll bars.

I looked for attributes to turn off but can't find any. Thought maybe the "textarea" type of box or form but be the culprit but don't know what to do. I searched the 6 pages of posts about "textarea" but didn't see anything. I'm pretty new to javascript. Just cut and paste right now and adjust the obvious things.

    Question

The code hides the scrollbar but it has no character limit. It means that once you type, you can input as many as you want... i want the input to stay visible on the screen for printing. I've seen a javascript too for textarea in this website that has character limit but you can't use multiple textareas that has character limit in one page... The purpose of my search is to put the webpage in a CD where a reader can write on the text box and print it.

Also is there other way to save it?

I don't see how your question had to do with scrollbars in a textarea. It would have been better for your to make a new thread. Too late for that now. Will something like this suffice? http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici.../maxlength.htm
