Does anyone have one of these?

I am looking for a script similar to the one here http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/navigate1.htm, that works for Macs and with rollovers. All help is appreciated. Thanks

I made this specifically because I wanted that very menu system but better.

beetle is it possible to get this to work so that when the graphic is clicked the menu degrades?

    degrades? You mean expand/collapse?

yeah that's exactly what I mean. Is it possible? What about Macs and NS are those just going to be problems?

Well, first let me clarify this: Macs are not the problem, IE for Mac is the problem

When you say NS I assume you mean NS4.x

The menu I designed was not made to look and operate exactly the same on every browser. It was made to be lean and efficient and fancy where it could be, and degrade where it couldn't be (Like NS4)

So, IE Mac and NS4 are only problems if you don't want them to get the degraded menu.

Oh, and yes, you can get it to work by clicking the bullet and not just the text. That has to be done in the CSS of the menu.

    Hey beetle,

A bit off topic, but a food for thought...
There are times (I would not argue about how often) when a page can be associated with an expandable menu item. Hence I would suggest a feature that allows separation of expand/collapse action (when the bullet is clicked) and page loading (when the text is clicked)...

I could most certainly do that. I, unfortunately, haven't been able to give this script the time it deserves over the past several weeks. Between the holidays, my new website, fValidate, and a few other things, I've been swamped!

That's the great thing about this forum... no matter how much you know, or have learned, you continue to learn an amazing amount of little tidbits that just increase your knowledge (not that I know NEAR as much DHTML as brothercake! Don't misinterpret that, lol!).
