    onlick action for a flash button

    Dear all,

    i am having a problem with a simple flash button i have created with a software(i do not know if i am allowed to put the name in here),the software is very simple and gives me a URL input field ,this input field is used to launch a URL when the user clicks on the button.
    my problem is that i need an action attached to this button via the URL input field.
    my action is:
    onclick=\"listen($myrow[0]);\"

    how can i forward this action via an URL input field?

    is it actually possible?

    i hope i have explained my problem correctly.

    thank you for your help

    No, you can not. You must see if your software has a tool which let you call a javascript function from within the flash application.

    hi,

    thanx for the reply,sorry for the delay.
    i have been searching inside the software for a way to input some java,here is what i found,i believe you can modify the code to suit your need,but how to input this php action into java?

    onclick=\"listen($myrow[0]);\"

    below is the menu i have found where i can add a line of code:

    <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="110" height="40" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index:1;" >
    <param name="movie" value="Untitled-menu.swf" />
    <param name="quality" value="high" />
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" />
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
    <embed src="Untitled-menu.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="110" height="40" allowScriptAccess="always" wmode="transparent"></embed></object>

    thanks for your help all.
