Hey guys,

I've been struggling with this for a while now. On my site I have a login section that is opened from a ThickBox. The design went slightly wrong in one respect so I've had to overcome that. The site in question can be found here. You will notice in the top right that there is a login section with one field for username. Obviously you need two fields for a login so I've made it so that on the submit button click it brings up a ThickBox window with the proper login form. What I would like to have happen is that when a name is input into the form and submit is clicked, that value is automatically passed into the value of username in the thickbox window, when it pops up.

I have managed to edit the ThickBox.js with the following, so that the value for the member name is attached to the url and passed to the thickbox, but for some reason when I echo that value in php, nothing appears? Am I going about this the wrong way, or have I missed something?

Code:
var theMember = $('#formtext').attr('value');
url = url + '&member=' + theMember;
alert (url);
I've added the above 3 lines just after:

Code:
if(url.indexOf('TB_iframe') != -1){// either iframe or ajax window
And it will bring up an alert box when submit is clicked that displays whatever you submitted at the end of the URL, but getting it to appear in the ThickBox is causing problems!

Thanks for any help!
