    Internet Explorer HTML file Element

The HTML file element (<input type=file>) displays a TextBox along with a Browse... Button for users to select a file from their m/c.

Setting the different properties of the file element like font color, font size etc. just reflects the changes in the TextBox but not in the Button.

For e.g. if the font color of the file element is set to blue, then only the color of the text in the TextBox changes to blue but the color of the text on the Button (which is Browse...) doesn't change to blue. Or if the font size of the file element is set to 15pt, then only the size of the text in the TextBox changes to 15pt but the 'Browse...' text on the Button retains the default size.

Is there any way by which the properties of the Browse... Button (like background color, border color, font face etc.) in the file element can also be changed along with the TextBox using JavaScript?

I think this will solve all your problems:

A very nice work around solution in my opinion.
