Script that will show/hide a select menu based on what option is chosen

I've been searching and searching for a script that will do this for weeks and I haven't found anything. It seems so basic that I can't believe nothing is out there that will do this.

I have a select menu that has about 12 options. Based on what the visitor selects in the 1st select menu I would like another select menu to appear with different amounts. Here's a basic example:

    Option 1: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h

    Option 2:

    if a, b, c, or d is chosen show a select menu with 1, 2, 3, 4.
    if e, f, g, or h is chosen show a select menu with 5, 6, 7, 8.

Does anybody know how to accomplish this using Javascript?

    Welcome to CodingForums, John.

Did you try searching the forums? There are many threads here that show you how to do something like that. Here is one example.
