Working with Ajax, Scriptaculous and IE compatability

I have been playing around with different ajax effects from scriptaculous and trying to learn how to do ajax type things like my login and my main page new content. That would be on http://beta.mikekot.com (the new movie, new comic and about)

Beyond the styles being messed up, which ill fix for IE later, I can't get the script to work with IE. In firefox, everything runs beautifully, but IE gives me error reports.

I apologize for my lazy coding style as so many of us have.

There is my javascript document for the main page transitions and effects... obviously I plan to clean it up, but until i get it working, I will leave it be.

Are there any red flags in there for unusable commands or objects in IE?

    thanks,
    mike

I got no error messages clicking around. What is the error message exactly?
