JavaScript to search the text feild

    Hi Guys,

    I'm new to JS.

I'm trying to implement this JS in grease monkey and this is what I'm trying to do :

When the user types a particular word in a text field on a web page, lets say "help" then it should bring up a pop up message saying "What do u want". Can someone help me with sample codes?

The first thing you must do is to identify the text field you want to monitor. You will need an ID for that field, if it hasn't got one it becomes a lot harder.
See if you can turn the back ground color of the 'text field' red for starters.

What are you using to learn JS?
