    Exclamation how do I delete a script I cannot see in my XML document?

    I will be honest with you, I seen something on someones site so I checked the source code and tried pasting the script on my page, I tried to modify the code to my liking but ended up not liking it after all.

    now I cannot locate the script in my html to stop it from running, I don't know what I did but I think I can't delete the script now, I can see my changes are not being reflected in the source code when I check, so now I have a script fetching and streaming an iframe embedded video that my users cannot see or shut off.

    I know it's frowned upon to just cut and paste code, but I am learning, can someone explain to me what I did wrong., I have a feeling it is because I injected that script incorrectly without editing it and using my own resources to run it. I believe it is running and fetching the content from it's intended source.

    I was attempting to take someones live stream's iframe and injecting it into my superfish menu setup.

    here is the script in the source:

    Code:
    <div class='widget-content'>
    <script type="text/javascript">
                function setIframeSource() {
                    var theSelect = document.getElementById('location');
                    var theIframe = document.getElementById('maincast1');
                    var theUrl;

                    theUrl = theSelect.options[theSelect.selectedIndex].value;
                    theIframe.src = theUrl;
                }
                function setIframeSource2() {
                    var theSelect1 = document.getElementById('location2');
                    var theIframe1 = document.getElementById('cast2');

                    theUrl2 = theSelect1.options[theSelect1.selectedIndex].value;
                    theIframe1.src = theUrl2;
    }
                function setIframeSource3() {
                    var theSelect2 = document.getElementById('location3');
                    var theIframe2 = document.getElementById('cast3');
                    theUrl3 = theSelect2.options[theSelect2.selectedIndex].value;
                    theIframe2.src = theUrl3;
    }
                function setIframeSource4() {
                    var theSelect3 = document.getElementById('location4');
                    var theIframe3 = document.getElementById('chat1');
                    theUrl4 = theSelect3.options[theSelect3.selectedIndex].value;
                    theIframe3.src = theUrl4;
    }
            </script>

    <div>
    </div>
    I know the problem is the script is fetching the "maincast1" URL that is located on the websites server

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
                function setIframeSource() {
                    var theSelect = document.getElementById('location');
                    var theIframe = document.getElementById('maincast1');
                    var theUrl;
    something I cannot change, I will be getting my own database soon to avoid all this ninja borrowing., but how come I cannot see the code in my XML? how do I take something out after I have injected it in there, Im worried I did a major booboo here

    I also know I do not need all that other markup to get what I want out of this, but while I am cut and pasting code, I am trying to learn this way

    if I am talking chinese and my jargon is wrong I apologize, be nice , Im new

    Thanks for your time.

    Thumbs up

    ok this will be embarassing but it will make up for my attempt to jack someones script, when I was farting around, I actually made a HTML box on my blogger page and put a copy of the script there, so yeah

    Im a fool, the script was still on the page lol

    I guess thats why I couldnt see it as it's embedded in a widget, and thats all new to me, if it means anything, I am taking courses to learn I am just a lil too eager to get into it as you can see

    I am sure some of you were here at one point, thank you for approving the thread to view either way lol

    DERP I will be back!
