I'm using 2 bxsliders side-by-side on my homepage. One is for images, and the other for captions - the content for both is fed from a back-end list. I'm doing it this way because the captions need to be stacked, with a different background color (#3BBFC4) applied to the "active" caption. A graphic of this can be found at: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2yl2ubs&s=5

But in order to change the background color, I need to add a class (let's call it .activeCaption) to the "active" caption - this would be tied to a .hover event.

I know that one of the callbacks listed at http://v3.bxslider.com/options can be used to accomplish this, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

A fiddle with my current setup can be found at: http://jsfiddle.net/astewes/gepME/3/. Note that I'm using 3 images and 3 captions in the HTML, just to give you a working example. There will never be more than 3 on display at any given time.
