    Help initiating jQuery page scroller

    Hi,

I can't see any functional difference between this page (the scrolling doesn't work from navbar):

    http://backstageweb.net/pagescroller...eme/index.html

and this one (which does work):

    http://backstageweb.net/pagescroller...-slideNav.html

Both pages are part of the sample files bought with this jQuery "plugin" - http://www.demo.pagescroller.com/

Can somebody help me out as to why the index.html doesn't scroll?

    Thanks,

    John

your problem is not the scroller. your problem is line 182 in application.js, which shows right away in the error console.

your application .js uses .live(), and you are using the latest version of jquery which no longer supports .live, it should be changed to .on()

I highly reccomend you learn more about using developer tools in chrome , or firebug in firefox etc. take a look at this http://fixingthesejquery.com/#slide1

    Dan,

I changed line 182 in application.js as you suggested (to .on) but it didn't fix my scroller. Thanks for this! http://fixingthesejquery.com/#slide1

That fixed the slideshow in Section 1.
