    Ideally you don’t change or remove CSS with jQuery, you’d change/remove class names or IDs which you use as CSS selectors.

    For example:
    Code:
    div {color: red;}
    div.example {color: green;}
    With jQuery you would add and remove the class “example” on whatever event you like.
