    jquery will not fire in Chrome only

    I have written some jquery that will not fire in Chrome only. I have tested FF and IE where it works just fine.

    Here is my call to jquery and external code:

    Code:
    <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="product.js" ></script>

    Here is the jquery code:
    Code:
    $(document).ready(function(){

    	$('#products').hide();

    	$('#provider option').click(function ()
    	{
    		//$('#products').fadeIn('fast');
    		alert('option clicked');
    	});

    });
    So far the alert is not doing anything for me in Chrome, but that might be for the fact that I dont swing that way :P

    Any ideas?

    Oh please, are you trying to add a click event to an OPTION?

    Haha

    Try attaching an "onchange"/"change" event to SELECT, not OPTION.

    Good luck
