    Help with Jquery ? Please

    I really need some help with a javascript, guys. I found this website http://www.clicksia.com/

    And just look at that awesome menu with sliding selector. I want something like that for my website.

    Here is the test mode : http://yamatest.agilityhoster.com/

    Now, look at this. The slider doesn't move where I want it to move. Can someone help me out with this ? Please.. I am new to javascript, but I am sure that it is just a matter of editing a small detail. Where ?

    Here is the js:

    If your problem relates to jQuery you would do best to post this thread in the jQuery (JavaScript frameworks) forum. Ask a mod to move you over.

    I doubt that it's just a matter of editing a small detail. You're trying to call the "start" method of the "sh" object, which is an instance of your own custom "ClicksiaHome", which doesn't have a "start" method. The script errors out, and nothing happens.

    If you are a novice, the first thing for you to learn is how to use a debugger. Otherwise you will never know what went wrong.

    Also, you linked to the wrong script file. jquery.js is the framework you are using, and there is nothing interesting in there. The interesting one would be pres.js, because it contains your own code.

    var hlX = [0, 132, 130, 194];

    I noticed this will do the trick.
    Again, I am a complete beginner at js.
    But modifying that seems to work. Thank you venegal.
