Exclamation Problems with a form that uses Jquery.

    Code:
    <form><label class="c1" form="text">Search</label> <input type="text" size="22" class="c1" id="text" onkeyup="javascript:void($('a').removeHighlight(.highlight(document.getElementById('text').value)); return false;" />
     <label class="c1" form="text">Use C/R or Enter to clear..___Needs javascript -
    For best viewing, use Firefox-Safari-Chrome.&nbsp;Uses CSS3 HTML5.</label></form>
This html code is used in my program "Sources" to pick a subject from the lists. I get warnings about the code which I have been unable to pin down. Mostly about the HTML but sometimes a panel says that there is a script error and do I want to continue using scripts.
    Any help will be welcomed

I know I had a problem. I just wish that I knew what and why.
