    Cannot Create object error

    I am trying to develop a form using Microsoft Infopath and i am using Microsoft Script editor to modify the actions associated with the buttons.

    One button i added gets the user id logged on to the computer and puts the value on a field. When i run the form from my hard disk, the button works just fine. But when i migrate the form to a shared drive on the network the following error ocurs:

    Automation server can't create object

    The line that is in error is shown below:

    var objNetwork = new ActiveXObject("WScript.network");

    Please help as I am a total newbie. Thanks a lot!

    Sounds like your ActiveX security settings are too high. Try moving your page to your trusted sites.

    Thanks for the Reply A1ien51. But I am not developing a web page. It's just an inter-office document that will be used to ask for approvals with embedded scripts to validate the approvers.

    Well whatever it is, needs to have security settings applied. Where is this document being viewed? In a browser?

    The document was created and is being viewed using Microsoft Infopath. Which security settings need to be changed? The access of the user to the shared folder in the network drive? Currently the user have Read/Write/Delete access on the said folder. The folder is located on the local drive of our application server. Will the activeX settings on the server need to be changed? Thanks a lot for accomodating my noobish questions.
