    java communicate with C++?

    I have a program that is written in C++ is there anyway that I could use java to utilize the functions in the prog and its headers by including them in my java source?

    I read the articles at sun already but they require me going through and editing an already working piece of code. I was hopeing for a better way which didn't entail that. Also Im going to be using a .dll file written in C++
