HttpURLConnection automate website logging is bool ... ?
Hello i've been learning and testing the java.net librairy since a week, particulary i tested HttpURLConnection tool to automate loggins and website requests . Neither i've not hold the power of the tool, or this tool is just bool sheet.
Shellcode does same work brighantly. HttpURL got Bullsheet documentation, half of methods are deprecated, i got the impression i've waste my time.
I could connect to my google account, but not to my mail. I could connect to my facebook but couln't post, couldn't connect to wordpress, and doc is inexistant.
Have you tried it ?
am i right ?

HttpURLConnection abstract class doesn't list any methods as deprecated, and its parent only has deprecated methods for getting and setting default request properties.
So that would imply its whatever tool you are using.
Also, you can simply use socket connections. Nothing forces you to use the http; if you can't get it to work the way you want, establish the communication manually and write the messaging to the socket. There is no guarantee that there's a problem on the client end either. With google mail I'd expect an interface, but with websites, I can certainly see methods added to block automated communications.
