    Is this Java?

We are involved in a project trying to implement OpenX (an open source ad server) for our website.

We would like this to have rotating ads - and - apparently, we need a Java programmer to implement this code -

So I reversed engineered some HTTP Headers and wondered if this is Java that is making the ads work?

(This is from a platform which we would like to reproduce for our business model)

Can someone please - kindly - decipher this for me? Thanks very much:

The reason why I think this is Java is because of the red font....

    Code:
    GET /gampad/ads?correlator=2730833494628973&output=json_html&callback=GA_googleSetAdContentsBySlotForSync&impl=

There's nothing to decipher here. That's simply the request uri and querystring provided. The u_java=true part is *likely* an indication that the browser accepts java, also indicated are flash versions, height, widths, resolution and so forth. Whether that's useful or not depends on what that script does I suppose.
Given its for adsense, I couldn't tell you what they do with it, but it sure looks like they're simply collecting browser data.

thanks - let me ask you - if you had to refresh <i frames> would you use Java or PHP or another language?

Reason I ask is b/c the <iframe>'s contain the ads that we would like to rotate.

    Thanks again.

If you don't control the source of the iframe, you have to use javascript (not java). If you control the source, you can do this with the server language by placing a redirection header that's timed back to itself.
