    Convert text to excel

    "HELP"
    How i can convert any text file to excel file?
    For Example : -
    if i text file - test.txt that contain following format

    Company Name: XYZ Date: 22/12/2010
    =========================================
    Srno department location position
    =========================================
    1 abc mum SE
    2 efg pune PA


    I want convert this in excel format with proper row and columns. At the same time I want I can convert any text file to excel means application should not be file specific.

    Are you meaning:

    First line : summary
    Line between ==== is column headers
    each row after ==== is a row of data with a
    split on each cell.....not hard.

    Just do as youve done then?! You have not described what you are stuck with.

    Yes, line between ========= this is column head. i m able to convert specific file but in that i hv to mention number columns in my text file. I want it will take columns dynamically and save them in excel.

    Sorry i dont understand - perhaps post your code in between [code] brackets for others and myself to study and then an example input file and then I can perhaps help.
