    Java EE 5 and WebSphere

    Hi there,

    Just a quick question here:

Can WebSphere application server run in a Java EE 5 environment, or does it only support the Java 2 EE Platform v1.4 (J2EE)?

Java EE 5 is the new version of J2EE isn't it?

Is Java EE 5 regularly used in development these days?

    Any help would be great.

    regards
    Jonathan

Not sure what else to say.....I've worked with Websphere Application Server and specifically Websphere Portal and they do run on the Java EE 5 platform perfectly fine.
