    apache tomcat different in IE or FF ??

    Note: this object (sessionMember) haven't been put into session jet, so session does not have this attribute.

    Code:
    SessionMember sessionMember = (SessionMember) session.getAttribute("sessionMember");

    ok on FF I can see all of its properties like: sessionMember.name etc

    in IE sessionMember is null.

    Any explanation ?

    this has nothing to do with IE/FF but everything to do with your logout not invalidating the session. usually u will do this by calling session.invalidate() FF is simply sending the old session cookie and getting the values for it
