    Connecting to specified channels unique per user, pjirc applet help

    I am trying to redo a pjirc applet for a game. We want it set up, so that when you connect to the applet, it puts you in a main room, trivia room, and another room specific to the family you are in. We know how to get them to connect to the main and trivia room, but its the specific family room we are having trouble with.

    For those of you who have never played a text game, and don't know what I am talking about, I'll explain. When you play this type of game you have your account where you can build up defenses, etc to attack people. But you don't work by yourself. Players form together into families. There are multiple families in the game, so not everybody is in the same one. But what we want, is when you connect it puts you in a channel, that is named after your family. So if you are in a family named... The_Killers....when you connect you'd be connected to a third channel called #The_Killers.

    How do I set that up? I know the basic command would be:

    <param name="command1" value="/join #channel">

    Just don't know how to make the applet read what syndicate they are in, and form a channel that way.

    its not the applets responsibility to figure out which syndicate the user belongs to... you must use some server-side language to do that for you and generate the appropriate param tag
