    Handling mouse events in JSP

    Hi ,

    I have to handle mouse events in JSP,means i have to handle the event of the user i.e, if he press the lest click we have to handle that event where he pressed it with JSP. Iam finding examples in Applets , nut i have to do it in JSP.Can any body help me please? it's very urgent.

    Hi,
    Mouse events are client events. So to handle these events, you have to execute code at the client first. So JavaScript is the way to go here. In the JavaScript, you can communicate with the server using xmlhttp (and then you are talking ajax) or post a form to a jsp page. If communication with a backend is not needed, you can handle everything in JavaScript. Just have your jsp page output all the things you need to the client.
