    Confused again

    Hi to all members, i hope i am not pissing alo of you. Its just i am doing the reasearch and i get more confused.

    This time i am stuck on one thing which is

    When i make a helloworld programme (http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutor.../netbeans.html)
    why can i not run it, i mean i understand i have to run it through netbeans which works, but say if i wanted to show it to a mate how would i show it to him? Will i have to open netbeans and then run it?

    There are many ways to skin a cat

    You can navigate to the folder where your class has been compiled and run it from there via a command prompt.

    Otherwise, you can built your project once completed. From netbeans, open the help menu and search for "build". It should give you a list of options and how to perform a build operation suitable to your requirement.
