    Firefox selecting image when not clicked

    This is really no big deal, however, it is quite annoying.

    In firefox, if I click to the left of an image (in blank space) the image is selected and highlighted. I can't figure out why. It doesn't happen in IE.

    Here is the URL:

    http://www.spinningkitty.com/v2/image.html

    Clicking to the left of the image will select it in firefox.

    Could anyone tell me why?

    Thanks.

    It's not so much a problem as it is an annoyance. I usually have more than one window open, and when going back to this one, I click right there next to the picture to make that browser window active. As soon as I do... the image is highlighted. Then I have to start clicking along here and there to find a place where it will un-highlight the image.

    I figure that if it gets me, it will eventually get someone else too, so I would like to fix it if possible.

    Thanks for taking a look.

    Seems like its a problem with the line in bold
    Code:
    .imgarea {
    	width: 750px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	text-align: center;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	padding: 10px 0 10px 0;
    	border: 1px solid #333333;
    	background-image: url(./Tile.jpg);
    	background-repeat: repeat;
    	background-position: bottom left;
    }

    Well... isn't that strange. Thanks for finding that for me. Of course, when I eliminated that line from the css, the text at the bottom of the div was no longer contained by the div. It is the float bug. The solution to that was to put in an empty div with "clear: both" after the floats. Now everything is contained, and there is no more picture selecting issues.

    Thanks for the help!
