    need help

    how do i remove the attributes from an exsisting window with out using java before opening it)

    you can't. you have no control over existing browser windows. imagine if you were just browsing along, and all of a sudden, a page started messing with your browsers width and height, and took away your toolbars and scrollbars. you wouldn't like it much, would you? just because we as developers, have the best intentions, doesn't mean we always execute them in our users' best interest. and, there are plenty of people out there, who don't have the best intentions. so that's why we can't mess with browser windows that are already open; it leads to too many problems.
