    Validation

I went and got a validation on my website, and got like 100 errors. These are the only 6, but repeated for each simmilar element. WHAT THE HELL DO THEY MEAN?

    Code:
    1. Line 18 column 15: an attribute value must be a literal unless it contains only name characters.
    <li><a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /><

    2. Line 18 column 44: an attribute value specification must be an attribute value literal unless SHORTTAG YES is specified.
    ...<a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /></a><

    3. Line 18 column 51: NET-enabling start-tag not immediately followed by null end-tag.
    <li><a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /></a></li>

    4. Line 18 column 51: required attribute "alt" not specified.
    <li><a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /></a></li>

    5. Line 18 column 51: end tag for "img" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.
    <li><a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /></a></li>

    6. Line 18 column 35: start tag was here.
    <li><a href=?jeshil=kontakt.php><img src=images/kontakt.gif class="image" /><

Image and anchor tags need to be written a specific way:

    Code:
    <a href="blah.org"><img src="blahpic.gif" alt="Blah" title="Blah" />
    Note the quotation marks.

    1. You have `<img src=images/*' and `<a href=?jeshil=*', when it should be `<img src="images/*"' and `<a href="?jeshil=*"'.
    2. Answer #1 should fix this problem too.
    3. Not sure about this one, but my guess is that it is related to the first one.
    4. On img elements, you need an "alt" attribute in case your images are not able to be rendered. Some people use text browsers and see only the alt text because text browsers won't display images.
    5. The previous answers should take care of this.
    6. The previous answers should take care of this.
    PHP Code:
    $hello file_get_contents('hello.txt'); echo $hello
    hello
