    MOzilla and Netscape

    I have installed netscape 7 and it has totally destroyed my Mozilla 1 !!! my xhtml pages were perfect in MOZILLa

    why ??? is it the same hidden Browser ?

    Had a similar problem myself. I couldn't have both browsers open at the same time - basically 'crashed' my Mac.

    They are basically the same, and I would suggest sticking to Moz1.1 and forget about NS7.0

    NS 6/7 and Moz both store user profile data in the same common directory (like C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla on Win 9.x systems). You can have multiple versions of each on the same machine but unless you set up different profiles for each you can only run one at a time.

    Once you set up a profile for a particular version, you can set a shortcut for it to run with that profile using the P command line option. For example:

    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla 1.1\mozilla.exe" -P Mozilla_1.1

    Then you can run different versions of NS and Moz simultaneously.
