    Too Much Characters....

    Ok So Me And A Friend Are Building A E-Mail Client that only sends to our network.

    anyways when it reads from the table, how do I make it so that the overflow for my css TD will be '...'

    long captio...

    is what im trying to do but doesnt seem to have an easy way to do it.

    Not with HTML or CSS. I'd use whatever server-side scripting you're using to pull the data out of the table to count the characters and insert the ellipses.

    so would i go to my PHP and then use a function to get from the MYSQL, display for example 70 characters then ... if it is longer than 70?
