    Menu With Text Links

    How would I make a menu bar with text links instead of having to create buttons for each link. I want it so that I can edit it with my own font type and color.

    Did you intend on using a font that you have on your computer and then hoping that it would be visible on the web if you used that font? If the user doesn't have the font you are trying to use its going to default to a system font that they do have.

    In that case could you just show me how to do it with a default font for now?

    Here is one example
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    #nav {
    margin:0 auto;
    padding:0;
    list-style:none;
    font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size:13px;
    width:532px;
    }
    #nav li {
    float:left;
    margin-right:3px;
    display:inline;
    }
    #nav li.last {
    margin-right:0;
    }
    #nav li a {
    display:block;
    float:left;
    width:100px;
    padding:3px 0;
    text-align:center;
    background:#CCC;
    color:#000;
    border:2px outset #000;
    text-decoration:none;
    }
    #nav li a:hover {
    background:#06F;
    color:#FFF;
    border:2px outset #CCC;
    }
    </style>
    </head>

    <body>
    <ul id="nav">
    	<li><a href="#">Link</a></li>
    	<li><a href="#">Link</a></li>
    	<li><a href="#">Link</a></li>
    	<li><a href="#">Link</a></li>
    	<li class="last"><a href="#">Link</a></li>
    </ul>
    </body>

    No, I mean like this: http://www.ign.com/

    See how they have text in their menu bar on the left instead of buttons?

    Check out the examples on that page I linked you to please. You will have a lot of options to choose from. Its just text, nothing special.
